a little bit about myself
I come from a multidisciplinary background, graduating from the University of Virginia in 2022 with a BA in American Studies and concentration in Visual and Popular Culture. My primary focus during my university research revolved around exploring the intersection between culture and design thinking in the contemporary world. My prior work experience also serves as a testament to the diverse facets where my skills excel; From utilizing brand strategy techniques to create social media content at The RecSpot, to copywriting for a magazine publication at Ivy Life & Style Media, to researching and implementing SEO techniques at the Spill Teem, I am driven by high levels of responsibility and the opportunity to learn and grow as a multi-faceted designer.
As a current Associate UX Designer at Merkle, day-to-day I apply my passion for design thinking techniques and my skills in art direction and graphic design to create engaging and user-centric digital experiences for clients across various industries. I collaborate with brand strategists, copywriters, and development teams while conducting user research, creating clickable prototypes, and annotating wireframes, ensuring that the end products meet the clients' needs and expectations.
