As the Social Media Manager for WUVA, the most prominent news source at the University of Virginia, I spearheaded the creation of visually captivating online content, significantly boosting online article viewership. Taking charge of the marketing department's editorial calendar, I curated digital content for publication with a keen focus on audience engagement. My role extended to leading digital analytics and metrics reporting, allowing for continuous optimization of our content strategy, heightened engagement, and increased visibility for new articles.
RecSpot
In my role as the Marketing & Social Media Associate at The RecSpot, I spearheaded the development of a content strategy to be employed on all of RecSpot’s social media accounts. Additionally, I took the lead in constructing internal lists of movie/TV codes, contributing to the development of the back-end application. Further, I conducted in-depth analyses of target audience reactions to diverse online content published on RecSpot's social media, newsletter, and blog platform.
Alpha Phi
As the Director of Marketing for the Alpha Phi chapter at the University of Virginia, I directed and supervised a dynamic marketing team, ensuring the high quality of content strategy, on-page efforts, and social media initiatives. I played a pivotal role in the timely development and delivery of visually compelling marketing materials, like the slides seen below.
